Ford GT40 MK1

We think that the circumstances of the original GT40 do not need to be described, every petrolhead saw them in the movie Ford vs Ferrari....

In the 1966 season, the Ford GT40 took the first 3 places at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and continued in the same spirit for the next 3 years on all major circuits of the world - the task of beating Ferrari was thus accomplished! Gradually, 4 generations of the Ford GT 40 were created, equipped with Ford V8 engines with a volume of 4.7 or 7 liters and an output of around 500 horsepower. The maximum speed was around 330 km/h.

The holy grail of all Ford GT40s is the MKI in Gulf Racing colors with the serial number P1075, which is the only car in history to win Le Mans twice, in 1968 and 1969. The GT40 offered by us is a replica of this particular car. The kit was manufactured by the English company KVA and is 100 percent identical to the original in shape and dimensions.

Under the rear hood is a smallblock Ford Windsor 302, similar to the original GT40. However, this one is civilian tuned and has an estimated power of 260 horsepower. Since the replica is not geared to such high speeds as the original, it subjectively seems that the power is greater. We replaced the original Renault gearbox with a higher-quality one from a Porsche Boxter. The prices of original GT40s reach around 10 million, so now you have the opportunity to get a similar experience for a fraction of their price!
